The rain. The silence after the rain....how quickly the sky pulls herself together. It`s enlivening; the rain...

It starts with a drizzle, a soft pitter-patter, and grows stronger. It grows deeper creating soft music that touches your soul. It's a distinctive calmness in listening to the rainfall. When everything goes blurry, your mind finds clarity. The rain teaches you to embrace the storms of your life; they help your soul enthrall and your emotions run wild. It`s beautiful when the trees sway in the wind of the rain and when the flowers blossom under the shadows of creeping sunshine through heavy clouds. It`s beautiful how the tiny drops settle themselves on leaves comforting themselves, looking for warmth. It`s beautiful how the rain is pure. How it washes away all impurities, all misery, all pain. It`s beautiful how the earth smells after the rain. It`s beautiful how it makes everything feel refreshing.

It makes a perfect day; such a scenic view with a novel in your hand and coffee in the other; cuddled up in a blanket away from the world. The rain is innocence. It's the paper boats swimming in puddles that bear memories from childhood.

The rain teaches you to look at the bright side of everything. It shows us how we need both compliments and criticism. It tells us how it`s okay to have your emotions running deep and wild. It`s fine to be upset and sad. it`s okay to cry because the clouds do too when everything is just too much to take.

The rain teaches you to make the most of the moment. It tells you that you don't have to wait for the sunshine instead learn to dance in the storm. Learn to control your emotions. It teaches you to believe in yourself; shows you that beauty lies amongst the smallest pleasures of life. It lies in the smallest drop of water, in the lightest breeze of the wind, and in the darkness spread over the sky. The darkness of the rain creates a rainbow that beautifully possesses itself on the sky sparkling under the sun...
