Friends; crazy individuals that make your day no matter what.

Throughout life we find different kind of friendships. On rare occasions we find some connections that stay for life.

We all think that a close friend, a best friend is someone we spend most of our time with. Wrong. A close friend is someone who you just have to share everything with;you can’t live without it. It’s someone who you have to tell the stupidest joke to. It’s someone you can blindly trust.

It’s not someone you only laugh around with, it’s the ones that touch your hearts. You don’t need everyday conversations, but when you do it’s like nothing has changed. It feels effortless because the efforts come out naturally. It’s about that silent understanding. It’s about truly knowing each other.

They sometimes move out of their comfort zones for you when you need them the most. These are the people who impact your life so much, you don’t remember a time without them. They are the ones who have seen the ugliest versions of you and yet decide to stick around. They choose to stay when they can leave. And the best part? They always stick through the times you need them.

It’s the people who you feel safe with. They are the ones who listen, and don’t judge. They tell you when you’re wrong and always support you through the right. They are the people who make everything seem worth it, make life simple.

It’s not easy to find such people, but when you do, you find friends for a lifetime. I feel that it’s hard to find such people because we have to go through a process of not fitting into a certain friend groups. You sometimes feel like your friends don’t love you back. You sometimes don’t wanna fit in, because you don’t wanna change who you are.

In the meanwhile you’ll have other friends. As you zoom out on these you’ll realise that these other friends sometimes are the ones that click. They are your people.

These are the friends that’ll show you what love in a friendship is. Being around them makes you feel calm. They could tease you like there’s no end and it’ll be your best memories.

With the right kind of friends you feel like growing. These are the people you’ll realise you love in the middle of insane laughing. In the end it doesn’t matter what cities you live in; you could live a minute away or a day away and yet it won’t make a difference.

In my personal experience, I’ve found some great friendships in cousins and friends. And the distance has never mattered. These people feel magical. They bring out the best in me.

I feel its important to find such friends in life. You’re lucky if you find these people. I’ve also experienced that everyone will eventually find these people. It might take a while sometimes but eventually you’ll find them. And when you do, you’ll realise how beautiful the idea of a friendship is.

This is for all my people. You know who you are. I hope you know that I love you guys to the moon and back :)
